Label Length

You can set an unlimited length or specify a fixed length for your label.

The length is unlimited when the [Fix Length] check box is not selected; the length is fixed at the specified length when the check box is selected.

Unlimited length

The length of the tape is adjusted to fit the inserted text and symbols/characters.

(The label length will be longer.)

Fixed length

If the [Fix Length] check box is selected, the label is limited to the specified length.
If the text is too long as shown above, adjust it by reducing the font or adding returns so that it fits within the print area (dotted line in the edit screen).

When the [Fix Length] check box is cleared, the setting returns to unlimited length.
The length of the tape is set to fit the inserted text and symbols/characters.
